Return and Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy for rolled prints only (excluding framed paper and stretched canvas). If you are not satisfied with your rolled print, please email us at hello@maevacantave.com and we will assist you in returning it.

 To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as received. Before returning it, we recommend packaging the print exactly as it was received. This will minimize the risk of damage during shipping.
Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the collector. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. A refund will be issued as soon as your print arrives at our workshop and we have confirmed that it is intact. Items returned without prior return request will not be accepted.

Damages and problems
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so that we can assess the issue and make it right.


Exceptions or non-returnable items
Some items cannot be returned, such as original artwork, framed papers, and framed canvas prints. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns regarding your item.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for a new item.


14-day reflection period in the European Union
Notwithstanding the above, if the goods are shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition in which you received it.


Refunds
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if your refund was approved. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please keep in mind it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post your refund.

Mon histoire

Formée en sciences du langage, j’ai longtemps cherché comment dire au mieux ce qui se vit à l’intérieur. Comprendre, transmettre et créer du lien ont toujours été au cœur de mes envies et un diagnostic tardif de TSA (Trouble du Spectre Autistique) m'a permis de comprendre que ma manière de communiquer et de percevoir le monde passait par d'autres chemins, plus sensibles.

Après la naissance de mon enfant, pendant le postpartum, il a fallu reprendre une activité, retrouver un élan, et surtout me retrouver moi. Dans cette période de grande vulnérabilité, où tout est à vif, la peinture s’est imposée comme une nécessité. Je me suis enfin autorisée à suivre cette voie, longtemps mise de coté.

La peinture est devenue un langage à part entière, un canal pour communiquer autrement et pour aborder ce qui me touche profondément. Créer est alors devenu un acte d’ancrage et de réparation, une manière d’habiter pleinement mon rythme et mon regard sur le monde.

À propos de mon travail

Je crée des peintures comme on crée des espaces de respiration.
Mon travail explore la sensibilité, la vulnérabilité et le besoin de refuge dans un monde souvent trop rapide, trop bruyant, trop dur.
Mon art est un appel à la résilience. Il invite à ralentir, à accueillir nos émotions, à tendre vers l’entraide, la douceur et le partage. Ici, la sensibilité n’est pas un défaut mais un guide.
